What are the winning hands in poker?
In most all games of poker, the winning hands are the same.

The lowest winning hands include a pair. A pair of anything, any two numbers will win.
You also can get two pair. Two jacks and a two threes or any combination will equal a winning hand. If two hands tie in having two pair, the high pairs will win!

There is three of a kind – any three cards of the same kind. If you are playing poker with a wild card, the wild card can also help you get three of a kind.

Four of a kind is a winning hand. In the case of a wild card, you can still use the wild card to get four of a kind.

A full house is a winning hand, which is a pair and a three of a kind in the same hand.

A straight, five cards that are in numerical order is a winning hand.

A flush is a winning hand, this is where your cards are not in order but they are all of the same suit. This would be all hearts, all clubs or all diamonds or all spades.

A straight flush is five cards all in numerical order, but does not include the ace in the five cards and the cards are all of the same suit. This would be all hearts, all clubs or all diamonds or all spades.

A royal straight flush is when you have all five cards in numerical order, including the use of the ace and they are all of the same suit. This would be all hearts, all clubs or all diamonds or all spades. That is the highest card hand that you can get to win in the game of poker!
